Rebecca (she/her) grew up in the Chicagoland area where she found a love and joy for working with children through teaching, volunteer work, and at her summer camp in Wisconsin. Her love of play and helping people translated into a career in occupational therapy. Rebecca studied at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY where she got her undergraduate and Master’s degrees in occupational therapy.
Becca has a passion for working with people and helping them live to their fullest potential. After participating in an intensive Sensory Integration fieldwork in Newton, MA, she developed a passion for learning and digging deeper into this specialty of pediatric occupational therapy. Over time in the field, Rebecca has gained additional training in areas including Learning Without Tears, SOS Approach to Feeding, the Alert Program, iLs/Unyte’s Safe and Sound Protocol and DIR/Floortime Level 1 Training.
Rebecca loves being part of the DFX team and wholeheartedly believes in the “Therapy that fits” approach when working with children and their families. She has a passion to continue to learn and grow every day while working with the amazing team at DFX. For fun, Rebecca enjoys going on hikes, cooking, exploring new places, listening to live music, and hanging out at home with a cup of tea.
