Lindsay Beckerman

MOT, OTR/L

Lindsay (she/her) grew up in Northeast Ohio and received her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from The Ohio State University. Lindsay knew she wanted to be an OT from the time she was in high school when she began babysitting for a child with developmental delays who would later receive an Autism diagnosis. Since then, Lindsay has enjoyed working with a wide range of children and teens to help them reach their potential.

Prior to joining the DFX team, Lindsay worked as a member of several multidisciplinary teams specializing in supporting individuals with Autism, Sensory Integration and Processing differences, emotional/behavioral disorders, and feeding problems. She also worked in a private clinic under Dr. Kay Toomey and specialized in feeding difficulties in neurodiverse learners of all ages. Lindsay continues to travel and present The SOS Approach to Feeding course several times a year.

Lindsay is a certified DIR Floortime Provider and an SOS Approach to Feeding Professor. She has completed an Intensive Mentorship Program in Sensory Integration and Processing and has completed the Polyvagal Certificate Course. When not working, Lindsay enjoys spending time her son, Sam and being outside as much as possible.
