Dear Friends, We are open and accepting appointments. We are here for you wherever you are. COVID-19 has presented daily and on-going challenges to the mental health and well-being of all of us, including you, our families and children who are missing your regular visits to DFX.In response, we have mobilized our efforts to provide alternate ways of being in touch, via phone, mail, social media (including our new Permission to Play youtube channel) and TELEHEALTH services. Throughout this challenging time, we have consulted with Tri-County Health and adjust our protocols to comply with their advice as well as the regulations of the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment and the CDC.

Here are some quick links if you’d like to watch the Permission to Play videos.

We have added to every child’s services a check-in on how the family is doing – as we know that supporting all of our resilience is imperative to the children’s well-being and to continue to support their development. Our therapy is more essential than ever and therapy goals can be addressed through modified means.

Our team of expert clinicians is providing remote consultations and telehealth treatment for children, teens, and young adults for goals that were in place prior to the coronavirus and for struggles with mental health and self-regulation that may have emerged in light of the challenges we are all facing. Depending on circumstances, we also offer in-person sessions and outdoor therapy sessions when appropriate.

Please give us a call at 303.333.8360 or email info@developmentalfxorg, or be in touch with your own clinician(s) to discuss how we can support your family during this time.
