Stephanie proudly serves her Colorado community with mental health aids, suicide prevention work, ADA coordination and supported employment which has spanned 12 years. Using her Master’s in Behavioral Psychology she worked at Wellpower (then MHCD), then moved to UCHealth where she began her current career as the Program Manager for the Project SEARCH Program – a school-to-work transition program for students who have a disability. Stephanie has assisted in growing the Project SEARCH program to four UCHealth hospitals, spanning from Greeley to Colorado Springs.
Stephanie is an active community collaborator and works alongside school districts, community partners, national partners, state partners, families, advocates, and employers around the state of Colorado to help students obtain competitive integrated employment in jobs they love at UCHealth or (more often) in their communities. She has helped guide over 60 graduates from her program in Aurora with a 93% successful employment rate. Stephanie is also motivated for her graduates to live their best, most fulfilling, and joyful life and thus developed alumni programs. The most famous among them: the Project SEARCH Travel Crew which sees and supports graduates to places like Belize, Ireland and Italy. Stephanie joined the DFX board in March 2024.
